73-year-old woman loses control of car, crashes into Dunkin’ in Sheepshead Bay

A Dunkin’ in Sheepshead Bay is temporarily closed after a driver lost control and drove into the store Saturday afternoon.

A Dunkin’ in Sheepshead Bay is temporarily closed after a driver lost control and drove into the store Saturday afternoon.

Police say a 73-year-old woman was driving a white car on the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Avenue X when she lost control. She first hit a parked car and then crashed into the Dunkin’.

Officials tell News 12 she was taken to the hospital along with the passenger inside the parked car that was hit. They had injuries that were not considered life-threatening.  

Workers spent the afternoon cleaning up the damage which included glass and debris.
