9-year-old boy punched inside Grant Park, suspect on the run

Police say a 9-year-old boy was punched inside Grant Park and the suspect is on the run.

The incident happened on April 17 around 6 p.m. The suspect punched the boy multiple times in the face and hit him on the face with a cable charger. EMS took the boy, who had lacerations to his face, to BronxCare Health System. He is expected to recover.

Meanwhile, the suspect ran off on Sheridan Avenue.
