Many people hit the ice Saturday for the reopening of the Abe Stark Skating Rink in Coney Island.
Saturday was the rink's first day of reopening since the pandemic began.
It was not very busy, but those who did make it out made sure to invite people throughout the city to come out and enjoy the thrill of flying down the rink.
The rink is open to the public on Saturdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There are special hours for certain holidays.
Proof of vaccination is required to be in the facility.
