The Administration for Children's Services is investigating after a 4-month-old baby was found dead in Brownsville last Friday.
The baby boy was napping in a crib inside a day care center on 423 Blake Ave. when a worker found he was not breathing, according to police.
Staff immediately started CPR and called 911, but when police arrived they found infant Ayden Perez unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS rushed the baby to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A spokesperson for the Administration for Children's Services says that their priority is protecting the safety of all children in New York City.
