Action Carting's first all-electric garbage truck is hitting Bronx streets - and Oscar the Grouch is along for the ride.

The new zero-emission truck is part of a partnership with Sesame Workshop to promote recycling and clean energy.

The truck will be hitting the road on July 1 after a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
