Community leaders are demanding action in response to a Halloween display in Clinton Hill that many neighbors found offensive.
Even though the artist behind it, Dany Rose, apologized, they're saying that's not enough and she needs to be held accountable.
The display outside her home depicted brown children hanging from nooses.
In an apology letter posted on the nonprofit studio ArtShack website, Rose, who is white, says the images used in the display were “based on the horror movie ‘Annabelle.’”
“…But because they were made of brown kraft paper and hanging from nooses, they were deeply racially offensive,” the letter states.

Some in Thursday’s rally want her removed from the ArtShack organization while others said it should be shut down all together.
