Police were back on the scene Saturday night at Brooklyn Bridge Park as more bone fragments were reported to be found just before 7 p.m.
This is the third time in two weeks that police have been called to the area for body parts discovered.
Police could be seen inspecting the rocks along the river right in front of Jane's Carousel, as a large crowd watched.
Dumbo locals continue to express their shock at the recent findings in their neighborhood.
"You hear stories I guess about the river," Greg Reeves, a Dumbo resident, said. "But no never, first time right in your backyard."
Police have not said whether these remains are all connected. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
