African artists performed live for attendees while others enjoyed food tastings, chef contests and live painting.
Small business owners told News 12 that events like this provide a space for small businesses to be seen and connect with their community.
The festival continues on Sunday at Hillel Plaza Flatbush-Nostrand Junction.
