ALERT CENTER: Delta Airlines cutting 100 flights from its schedule

Delta says it's battling everything from weather and air traffic control issues to problems with vendor staffing and employees getting COVID-19.

Delta Airlines announced it will be cutting 100 flights from its schedule between July 1 and Aug. 7.
Delta says it's battling everything from weather and air traffic control issues to problems with vendor staffing and employees getting COVID-19. The airline says it needs to do this to minimize disruptions and to be able to bounce back faster as challenges occur.
Jet Blue is also trimming its schedule by 10%, and Alaska Airlines has already cut its schedule by 2% through June.
