Police say a man is in critical condition after being struck by a car in the Bronx late Monday night.

According to officers, a 29-year-old man was walking across the street before 12 a.m. when a Jeep allegedly struck him.

Police discovered the vehicle a few blocks away unattended and believe the suspect fled the scene.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition.
