Animal cookies sold at Target have been recalled voluntarily by the manufacturer after metal wire was found inside the food.  
D. F. Stauffer Biscuit Co., Inc. is voluntarily recalling 44 oz Market Pantry White Fudge Animal Cookies because they may contain metal.
The product comes in a clear plastic jug formed to a bear shape and was distributed at Target stores nationwide.
Products bearing a best by date 21FEB2023, jug lot numbers 21FEB2023 Y052722, and case lot number of Y052722 with time stamp 15:00 to 23:00 and UPC code 085239817698, are all impacted by the recall.
