POLL: Most New Yorkers want early March data before lifting school mask mandates

Gov. Kathy Hochul said she will make a decision on masks in schools in early March.

A new Siena College Poll reveals about 58% of New Yorkers want early March data before lifting school mask mandates.
For those with children in the household, about 46% said they want Gov. Kathy Hochul to wait for early March data before making the decision.
About 40% of those with children in their household said they want the mandate dropped now.
Lastly, about 13% say the mandate should be dropped after February break.
Gov. Hochul said she will make a decision on masks in schools in early March.
