An alleged hit-and-run in Bensonhurst has left three cars smashed.
The incident took place Saturday on 16th Avenue and 65th Street. The owner of a white van told News 12 Brooklyn that he heard a loud noise from his apartment, so he ran downstairs and saw four men run out of a beige pickup truck.
The same man also said he tried to help the people stuck in a white Lexus until police and fire crews arrived on scene. Fire officials say a call came in at 2:21 p.m. reporting an overturned vehicle with injuries at the scene, but they are believed to be non-life threatening.
Anyone with information that can help police find those responsible for the incident should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
