Alzheimer’s patient missing in Brooklyn

Officials are searching for a Brooklyn man who they say suffers from Alzheimer's. 
According to police, David Melendez was last seen leaving his Bushwick home on Irving Avenue to go to a nearby store Monday afternoon. 
The 67-year-old is also diabetic and blind in one eye. He's described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 240 pounds with salt-and-pepper hair.
