Members of the community gathered in Sheepshead Bay for their annual Hanukkah celebration on Sunday.
The family event was held at the Kings Bay YMCA and was free to attend.
It featured arts and crafts, face painting, dancing and a menorah-lighting ceremony.
Organizers say the event helps children understand and appreciate their culture.
