A landlord is dead after being shot in an argument over trash piling up in a Brownsville apartment building.
Police say Paul Siddo went to the apartments after tenants complained about garbage in the hallways. Siddo was taking out the garbage and urging the tenants to do the same when, according to authorities, an argument started. Police say Siddo was getting into his van when someone yelled, "that?s him" and Siddo was shot. The part-time landlord was pronounced dead at Brookdale Hospital. He leaves behind four daughters.
The owner of the building says he has had problems with the tenants refusing to pay rent. Police are searching for the suspects.
