Police have released dramatic surveillance video that shows an armed jewelry heist in broad daylight. 
According to authorities, two men walked into a Coney Island Avenue jewelry store in Midwood Wednesday afternoon and pulled out a gun. 
The video then shows one of the suspects using a hammer to smash the glass display case, pull out jewelry and shove the pieces into a bag. 
Investigators say the men were able to get away with about $250,000 worth of merchandise.
