Lance Armstrong has been nixed from this month's Ironman France triathlon after new doping charges were filed against him.
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency accused the cycling great of using performance-enhancing drugs and threatened to strip him of his seven Tour de France victories. He also faces a lifetime ban from the sport if he's found guilty.
Armstrong released a statement saying, "I have never doped, and, unlike many of my accusers, I have competed as an endurance athlete for 25 years with no spike in performance, passed more than 500 drugs tests and never failed one."
