Police say a man arrested in connection with the shooting of a 12-year-old in Brownsville is no longer a suspect.
Police say the arrest made earlier this week has been voided. They say they are on the hunt again for the gunman who fired at someone on Lott Avenue Monday.
One of the bullets struck 12-year-old Levon Gilliam Jr. in the leg as he walked home from school. Gilliam Jr. is expected to make a full recovery.
According to community advocate Tony Herbert, Gilliam Jr. was in the middle of a shootout between two men.
Police are still looking for the suspects.
