Many artists are now worried a massive Red Hook fire caused them to lose their studios.

The building has four floors with multiple units. One artist on the second floor told News 12 he’s had his space for about two years. But his studio is full of artwork that includes priceless pieces he collected from all over the world. Many of them hold a special connection that can never be replaced.

Artists say they’re hopeful not everything is gone.
