Authorities say a car slammed into a house in Canarsie on Tuesday, sending one person to the hospital.

The FDNY says a car collided into the side of the home at 1255 East 93rd St. around 12:30 p.m.

The garage door was bent in, some bricks fell from the house and a car inside the garage was damaged.

Authorities say one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The homeowner told News 12 she heard the loud crash and was shocked to come outside and see a car had plunged into her home.

She says the accident involved two cars and that one of them hit the back of the car that crashed into her house.

The homeowner says both cars stayed on the scene. She plans to reach out to her insurance agency to get her home repaired.
