Authorities say three people were injured early this morning in a building fire in Kingsbridge Heights.

The fire started at the apartment building at 2575 Sedgwick Ave. around 5:30 a.m.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control.

Three people were transported to a nearby hospital.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
