2h agoPolice say a man is dead after a late-night shooting in Sheepshead Bay.
According to the NYPD, the shooting happened at the Nostrand Houses on Batchelder Street at around 11 p.m.
Responding officers discovered a 37-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was found near the first-floor stairwell where EMS pronounced him dead, police say.
There is no word on the location of a suspect. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact police.
