A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot Thursday night in Parkchester.

The FDNY says they were conducting another investigation on Archer Street and Leland Avenue when they heard shots being fired.

When they arrived to the scene, they found the victim with a single gunshot wound to his back. He was transported to Jacobi Hospital.

Two suspects have been taken into custody.
