Police say five people were hospitalized Monday night after two cars collided and slammed into a building on Atlantic Avenue.

Police say five people were hospitalized Monday night after two cars collided and slammed into a building on Atlantic Avenue.
The accident happened on the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Thomas Boyland Street just after 7:30 p.m.
News 12 is told that the two cars collided, then struck three pedestrians. The pedestrians, and the two drivers, are expected to recover.
Extensive damage was done to the cars, and they were towed away.
Tony Ford, who witnessed the incident, says it all started when one of the cars tried to make a U-turn.
There is no word if there will be any arrests.
