A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train in Midwood, according to the FDNY.
Fire officials say the incident took place just before 5 p.m. at the Avenue N subway station in Brooklyn. They say that the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the NYPD, the male was observed by an MTA employee on the south bound F train road bank before being struck by the train. No criminality is suspected at this time.
