Flatbush residents are unhappy with long lines at the Flatbush Station post office.
The U.S. Postal Service says that the lines are due to package drop-offs. When the postal office can't deliver packages securely, they are brought back to the station, resulting in a backlog that customers say can take up to two hours.
"I'm a patient person, I try to be patient. Everyone there is calm, we're in line, and we're being quiet. By the time you reach the front, and you're hot, you're sweaty... you're infuriated," says Chris Dieman, a postal customer.
The Postal Service says that it takes customers' concerns seriously and will continue to work with community stakeholders to come up with permanent solutions.
