Brooklyn residents are urged to be careful if they are out and about due to the rainy and icy weather.
Drivers should slow down as the roads are slippery and wet.
Residents are also encouraged to wear extra layers to stay warm while outside.
Anyone who does not have to be outside is told to stay inside and keep warm.
