The Brooklyn Academy of Music kicked off its annual DanceAfrica Festival and Bazaar Saturday.
More than 180 vendors from around the world set up shop in Downtown Brooklyn for the festival. 
Art and other performances celebrate African cultures ranging from the continent to the Caribbean and even African-American.
This year marks the 38th year of the annual festival.
It runs through Monday.
