A local artist is bringing the life of the woods to the concrete jungle through her murals.
Artist Jenna Morello, of Bay Ridge, painted a mural of a forest blending in with its surroundings in Bushwick.
She says she loves bringing the feeling of nature to an urban environment like Brooklyn.
"You don't really realize that you are in it, then you step back you’re like, 'ah,' I mean it does look like a forest," she says.
The artist says she loves painting outdoors and that she painted this specific mural of the woods on the same building where she buys spray paint for her art work.
Morello's work can also be found in Sunset Park, Staten Island and Manhattan.
