MTA officials say the Bay Ridge Avenue train station is undergoing a facelift after residents complained about problems.
Sen. Marty Golden says his office received numerous complaints about broken stairs and peeling paint at the station. After he reached out, the MTA added the station to its in-house painting program.
Officials say they have already begun repairing the broken stairs and expect the project to be completed by the end of this year. The painting project is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
