Rain, wind and snow is not stopping the St. Paddy's Day Parade from going on in Bay Shore Saturday.
The parade is set to kick off at 2 p.m. from Saxon Avenue.
It is the first time two years that the town will be able to host the festivities due to COVID.
Despite the possible rain and snow, people say they are ready to celebrate.
"Unfortunately, the weather doesn't look too great, but that doesn't stop us," says Brentwood resident Vinnie Manzella. "Bay Shore, come down, hang out, have a good time."
Businesses in the area are also excited that the parade is coming back.
"All in all, we are very excited to turn the page from where we were the last two years and move forward and start doing some business again," says Changing Times manager Eric Lukash.
He says they have tents set up to protect people from rain or snow.
Bars in the area are set to be open late so people can celebrate even after the parade is over.
Now, while the parade is expected to start at 2 p.m., bars in the area will be open as late as midnight or 1am and - as you can see - people are prepared to celebrate well into the evening.
