Most people can't wait for Friday evening to come around.
But for some Bedford-Stuyvesant residents, it's become an issue.
Every Friday the Nechemia Synagogue blasts a siren to mark the start of Shabbat, but nearby residents say it's much too loud.
The Department of Environmental Protection has issued a violation, and officials say the matter will be reviewed by the environmental control board on Nov. 22.
