Students and teachers in Bed-Stuy are teaming up to try to put an end to cyberbullying.
Bullying stops here was the rallying cry heard from students at P.S./M.S. 178 on Thursday as they presented research on Internet bullying as part of a yearlong effort sponsored by Optimum Community.
The classmates also performed a skit to show how students can stand up to bullies and stop the cycle.
The school was even rewarded $1,000 from Optimum Community to help continue its anti-bullying campaign. The principal says the money will be used to purchase items such as anti-bullying posters, T-shirts, books and movies to help kids feel safer in their own school.
Optimum, which is part of Cablevision, is a parent company of News 12.
