Tenants living in a Bed-Stuy housing authority complex say they're fed up with decrepit living conditions that haven't been addressed by management.
The tenants rallied today outside about 80 apartments on Willoughby Avenue. Their resident association is suing the New York City Housing Authority for what it says are unlivable conditions.
The lawsuit alleges that conditions in the apartments have worsened since they sued in 2009. NYCHA appealed a court's ruling in the 2009 lawsuit fining the agency $37,000. The appeal is still pending.
