A Brooklyn photographer is taking residents' throw-away furniture and turning it into a masterpiece.
Justin Bettman noticed that many borough residents were throwing out furniture in good condition around the first of every month. Without the luxury of a big studio, Bettman has been creating mini-sets on the sidewalks of Bushwick with his discovered household items.
He has been using #setinthestreet for his pictures.
"This illustrates that you don't need a lot of money to do something that looks good if you're willing to take the time to look for it," Bettman told News 12.
He also plans to keep creating sets in the street throughout the year.
