An MTA worker and World War II veteran celebrated his 90th birthday Wednesday.
Frank Gurrera says he credits his longevity to his daily routine as a subway machinist at the MTA's maintenance complex in Coney Island. He has been with the MTA for almost 45 years, making tools, subway parts and all types of equipment.
His colleagues say his work ethic gets stronger every day.
The 90-year-old says he has no plans to retire.
