A retired Brooklyn teacher remains hard at work at his old Canarsie school, but without pay and on his own time.
One-of-a-kind educator Myron Cohen isn't ready to close the book on education, so he volunteers every day at P.S 276 doing odd jobs and helping the kids in any way he can.
He first became a teacher in 1968 and spent the majority of his teaching years in Brooklyn.
For Cohen, who never had a family of his own, P.S. 276 and its students are his family.
