News 12 Brooklyn visited a Midwood sculptor who finds inspiration in pop culture for her work.
Robin Antar carves her sculptures out of marble and limestone, as well as other unique materials like honeycomb calcite.
She uses everything from Oreo cookies and ketchup bottles as references, saying she wants to preserve memories of everyday things.
Antar turns these pop culture references into art. For instance, she made a 6,000 pound bag of potato chips out of marble.
