A miniature army is taking up battle positions and duking it out under post boxes and murals all over Brooklyn.
The general commanding the pint-sized ranks is artist Justin Captis, who came across a box of toy soldiers thrown out on the street and started gluing them in formation along his bike messenger route.
"It's almost like being in a real battle," Captis says. "You know, the expression that they have in their faces, whether it's screaming or looking really intensely, aiming their weapons at the other characters."
Some curious passersby have posted the tiny battles to social media. Others, however, have returned fire by destroying them.
Urban warfare aside, it's all about paying attention to the little things in life.
