It's Tuesday and that means it's time to make another stop at a restaurant that makes up the best of New Jersey. And today we're heading to Middlesex County to check out the newly reopened the Ellen Hotel. This is gonna be my favorite part because I get to eat. And with me is the assistant chef, Abe and executive chef Miguel, you guys put a such a good spread. I'm gonna start with the soup because you were telling me one of the best, one of the best, one of the most popular. Nobody make onion soup like us. Nobody. So what else do we have here on the table? We have the chicken focaccia sandwich with balsamic glaze salad with shrimp here. One of our famous appetizer is pretzel crab meat. That's excellent for appetizer for entree later. You have the chicken but pie and that's homemade. That's the best chicken but pie you'll ever have. I'm gonna have to try a little bit of everything. But you know, we were, let me, let me, let me move this here for you. And as I told you, you wanna use your hand, use your hand, you wanna use fork and knife. It's a family place, feel like you are home, whatever makes you happy, be comfortable and enjoy coming to Danelle Hotel. Well, you said you feel like home here, even though you come here for work, you're retired, you came out of retirement just to work here. Yes, because I really enjoy work and I enjoy being with good people and here you have good people. I'm gonna keep eating. So we're gonna go ahead and just kind of cut it from here because I am going to stuff my face with all these things. Great. I hope you'll enjoy it. I will. And I really did. I was, I was literally like a, I'll try, I'm gonna try that and I'm gonna try this. It was so good. All of it. It looks like a great guy too. Yeah. Oh my God. And the staff is amazing. We have so much more throughout the morning from the del and hotel.

It's Tuesday and that means it's time to make another stop at a restaurant that makes up the best of New Jersey. And today we're heading to Middlesex County to check out the newly reopened Dan Ellen Hotel. This might be my favorite part of the morning. I have Scotty Lock, the bartender here with these fantastic drinks. Tell me about him. This is our summer drinks. A summer special. It's called the Drunken Mermaid. It's got blue cura vodka and pineapple. Very popular. The girls like it our classic, uh, Dirty Martini, extra large olives. Very popular. And, uh, hotel creation contains fresca little throwback and that's vodka, fresca and cranberry. It's called The Usual Suspects. The Usual Suspects. I like that one. That one flies out of here. Really? Ok. And so that kind of has the fresca. So it's a little old school. Yeah, it's a little old school. Yeah. And people seem to love it. And so what I feel like is it one of these types of bars we walk in and does everyone know everyone's name? So, you know, so when I walked in, you knew my name just from the news? Well, these look like fantastic drinks. Unfortunately, I know it's five o'clock somewhere but it's not five o'clock here on mornings on news 12. So I'm just gonna have to look at this and enjoy it with my eyes.
