Bicyclists raise money for cancer research at annual Empire State Ride Long Island

Hundreds of bicyclists are riding for a good cause in Oyster Bay.

Hundreds of bicyclists are riding for a good cause in Oyster Bay. 
The annual "Empire State Ride Long Island" kicked off at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park.
Each rider has been fundraising for cancer research and clinical trials. More than $80,000 have been collected so far. 
Drivers in the area are asked to slow down as bikers make their way along the route.
