Hundreds of bicyclists took to Brooklyn and city streets Sunday to honor 14 riders who lost their lives last year and to raise awareness.
Riders made five stops in the borough ? including in East New York, Williamsburg, Brownsville and Canarsie. Participants placed a ?ghost bike? at each stop to symbolize the life that was lost there. Organizers say they want the city to keep better records of bicycle accidents.
The grassroots group TIME?S UP! and other associations organized the second annual event.
