Basketball teams from the Big East came together for media day at the New York Athletic Club this week.
Providence College point guard Vincent Council was named to the preseason All-Big East First Team after being largely overshadowed during his senior year at Lincoln High School in Brooklyn.
Also in the spotlight is Louisville after being named the unanimous No. 1 pick out of 15 teams to win the conference in the preseason coaches' poll.
