Billboard released their list of the 51 greatest rappers of all-time for the genre's 51st Anniversary, and some artists from Brooklyn made the list.

He got 99 problems but being the best ain't one as Jay-Z comes in as the best rapper on the list. Jay-Z has 14 Billboard 200 #1 albums and over 140 million records sold. He has also collected 24 Grammy awards.

The legendary Notorious B.I.G. came in at #6. Biggie scored 16 Hot 100 hits including the "Mo' money, Mo' problems" and "Hypnotize."

Big Daddy Kane claimed the 20th spot. He's a rap star who has been paving the way for artistes since the late 80s with hits like "Ain't No Half Steppin'" and "Smooth Operator."

Mos Def, who hit the underground scene in 1997, came in at #36.
