New York City is seeing bitterly cold temperatures this Christmas Eve, marking the second coldest Christmas Eve on record in the City.
Gov. Kathy Hochul warned in an address on Saturday that the low temperatures were life threatening.
"There is not one place in the state of New York where the temperature is above zero, as far as the real chill, the real feel temperature, that's what it feels like on your skin,” said Gov. Hochul.
News 12’s Julia Joseph spoke to people who were outside as they braved the cold.
