A Brooklyn mural artist will soon have his work on popular cans of beer.
For the first year ever, cities around the country will celebrate National Mural Day.
National Mural Day is a day in which artists, landlords and building owners are encouraged to create new murals in their communities.

It was the idea of beer company Pabst Blue Ribbon, in conjunction with Brooklyn artist Cey Adams, who will together be launching National Mural Day.
Adams will have his work featured on PBR cans, 150 million in total, distributed all over the world.
Adams is known for his work with A-list celebrities like Jay Z, Mary J Blige and LL Cool J.

“I think it's a way to educate people about how many towns’ people are out there making art and the thing that's great about public art, is that it's free, it's just like music, it's sort of lives in the air,” says Adams.

Over 20 cities will be participating in National Mural Day this Tuesday.
One of Adams’ latest work is featured at Banker Street and Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg.
