Fourth of July created a spike in business for a Brooklyn Heights gourmet supermarket.
Garden of Eden is always open on Saturdays, but with nearby Supreme Court and Borough Hall down the street closed on the weekends, business normally tends be slower than on weekdays.
On Saturday, however, the owner said business was booming with increased traffic due to the fireworks show on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.
The store had extra staff on hand to help serve the extra customers.
Garden of Eden is known for its fresh fruits and vegetables as well as prepared meals and other delicacies.
