The Scholastic Corporation is turning one young Brooklyn resident's dream of becoming a journalist into a reality.
Adedayo Perkovich, 10, is one of 32 kids from across the country chosen for the Scholastic News Kids Press Corps program. Over 200 kids applied to become a member.
As part of the program, Adedayo's writing will be read by millions of students nationwide. Her first opportunity will be to preview the film "Annie," where she will interview A-list actors like Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz.
Adedayo says her inspiration comes from the park across the street, the café on the corner and the public library.
