Three Brooklyn grocery store workers have joined the ranks of celebrities and professional athletes as they grace the front of a Cheerios cereal box.
The employees from the McDonald Avenue ShopRite store are among dozens of workers from across the northeast being honored for their efforts to help feed the hungry.
The Brooklyn store managed to raise $30,000, which was more than any other ShopRite location. All together, the employees raised $1 million.
